Rodeo Roundup
Houston, are you ready to rodeo?
It’s almost that time of year again. Time for high calorie foods, cute farm animals, carnival rides, and awesome musical acts. It’s rodeo time y’all! While the city of Houston and the state of Texas is preparing for the three-week long celebration of western heritage, education, agriculture, and entertainment, we begin to plan our outfits for rodeo season.
Even though there is so much to do while the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is in town, the heart of this organization is to give back to our local communities. Since 1932, over $500 million has been awarded to Texas youth and education through scholarships. So, if you plan on attending a concert, play games in the carnival, or treat yourself to deep fried Oreos, know that you are contributing to one of the largest, charitable productions in the world!
Now you’re thinking, “What do I wear to the rodeo?” As easy as it is to think of ‘country girl’ style as studded jeans, t-shirts, and cowboy boots, we are no longer bound to the stereotypical fashion. Although there is nothing wrong with the country classics, we’re ready to step in our boots and standout amongst the crowds of thousands.
- Giddy on up in the Plus Ruffle High Neck Midi Dress
- Saddle up your style game in the Wavy Trim Linen Dress
- Baby’s got her blue on in Paisley Print Set
Ride into the rodeo in the Rose Embroidered Tunic Dress
Let’s inspire those songs that country boys love to sing about. As we gear up for another season, let’s not be scared to show off our flirty side. After all, it’s not our first rodeo!
